For Investors

People invest in film for a variety of reasons, and those reasons may or may not be influenced by money or the goal of an investment return. Sometimes investors are simply interested in the message of the film, or they are just intrigued by filmmaking or being around filmmakers. Still others believe that an investment in a motion picture enables them to participate in an industry which has the potential to reach, entertain and influence millions of people. Though, for those who are out to make money, the film industry is an extremely viable opportunity to do just that.

There are numerous examples of successful independent films, including "Slingblade, The English Patient, Shine, Sex, Lies and Videotape, Breaking the Waves, Clerks, Halloween, Dirty Dancing and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In fact, the last three films are considered to be among the most financially successful independent films of all time.

How it works:

Introductory Appointment. As you begin to explore the idea of Executive Producing a film or project, we will conduct an Introductory Appointment with you to discuss your goals. It is important to understand your vision, your expectations, and how this investment opportunity will add value to your life.

Project Presentations. After the Introductory Appointment, should we choose to work together, we will present a wide variety of upcoming projects. Based on your interests, budgetary guidelines, and shared vision of the project, we will narrow down the projects to those that we mutually believe would be a good fit.

Film Maker Meeting. We will set up appointments with each of the film makers to dive deeper into each of their projects. It is important that the film maker and the Executive Producer are on the same page and have a common understanding of the project’s purpose. We are happy to accommodate multiple meetings with the film makers if necessary.

Once we have successfully paired you with a project that you believe in and want to Executive Produce, we will sit down for a final meeting to finalize all arrangements and to sign all Agreements.
